BOOK KEEPER/ACCOUNTANT

Duties and Job Description

An experienced and committed Book Keeper / Accountant required for an established and expanding Property Management Company based in Manchester City Centre.

We currently manage in excess of 800 properties with substantial increases forecast throughout 2009. This is a new role to help further our next stage of business development and improvement.

Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will have the ability to proactively assist with the implementation of new accountancy software packages, with the ability to work with manual systems in the interim. (Sage experience preferred but not essential). Double entry book keeping skills essential, preferably AAT qualified or have equivalent experience.

Key Duties:
• Property Management Accounts System
• Transfers of Internal Funds
• Cash Management including Budget Forecasting and Banking
• Basic Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger Transactions Preparations
• Year and Month End Preparation
• Preparation for VAT
• Assisting Directors with Confidential HR Administration

This is a full time position requiring you to work between 37.5 and 40 hours Monday to Friday. Flexible working proposals may be considered.

LETTINGS ADMINISTRATOR

Duties and Job Description

Lettings Administrator required for busy Lettings Company in Manchester City Centre.

The role will be flexible with masses of potential and will cover general administration duties. The duties include assisting the Lettings Team with the day to day running of the Department, including taking telephone calls from prospective tenants and making appointments for viewings and updating the Company's intranet and websites.

The ideal candidate should have office experience and have good keyboard and communication skills together with a good knowledge of word, excel and the internet. Previous Property Management experience would be desirable.

This is a long term role which for the right person will offer training opportunities and increasing responsibility as the Company grows and develops.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Duties and Job Description

Able to assist the Management Team with the day to day running of the Department, including preparing rental statements, co-ordinating all tenancy extensions, dealing with tenants’ queries, liaising with relevant utilities and landlords. Is open to change and can initiate where appropriate. Building productive team relationships and contributes proactively to team activities. Demonstrates reliability and consistency.

LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR

Duties and Job Description

Lettings Negotiator required for expanding Lettings and Property Management Company in Manchester City Centre.

The role will be flexible with masses of potential and the role includes, matching prospective tenants with suitable properties within our portfolio; provide a friendly and professional service; register all new applicants on all properties; arrange, organise and conduct all viewings in line with Company procedures; report all viewing feedback and offers to the Lettings Manager and update our intranet accordingly; negotiate where instructed any offer between Landlord and Tenant; regularly update all websites with new properties and photographs;

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the Company and the overall business objectives of the Company.

Applicant must possess a full clean driving licence and have own vehicle, for which a car allowance is payable.

Extremely competitive basic salary together with generous commission structure and half yearly bonuses.
